The following is a list of general free options included in most, if not all Framework designs. Many of these options can be turned on and off in your specific site, according to your wishes. There are often dozens more options that are specific to each Framework, and these can be discussed in your Framework design consult.
media options:
A free "cropped" thumbnail can be done of each image (by request), by a trained designer, who will extract the most unique, interesting element of each image, so even though the thumbnail may be small, the image can easily be identified. It also has the benefit of creating a more abstract collection of thumbnails, especially important when the thumbnails are always visible, as they are in many of our Frameworks. You are welcome to submit a collection of your own cropped thumbnails, 72px by 72px, as long as they have exactly the same name as the full-crop image, and we'll take care of making it work.
Each still Media Object can be clicked on to pop it up full screen, with a "screen" version of that media, which is 1024px wide by 768px high.
Profile options:
folder name of HTML site: define keywords (99 characters max) for your main HTML site directory path for potentially better search engine results.
create quick ID for the profile, so it can be accessed directly by your visitor typing in a simple URL, like www.yourdomain.com/profilename
launch settings: (coming soon)
custom pre-loader: (coming soon)
Framework Options:(coming soon)
general options:
choice and mapping of fonts: Choose two from nearly 100 professional-grade fonts, and specify which of the two are used for which areas.
keyline around Flash site
display "scroll for more" when scrollbars are required
display keyline around media in HTML popups
display keylines around Media Objects in Info Pages
disable keyline around Gallery Media
alternate color scheme for HTML popups
override surrounding background on Intro Page
disable controls:
disable internal multi-step (breadcrumb) "back" button
disable thumbnails
disable scrollbars
disable "loading" indicator
disable popup "navigation tips"
gallery:
master gallery size control (percentage), which shrinks all gallery media uniformly, creating more breathing room between the media and the rest of the page.
gallery block color, which inserts one of your seven colors behind all the gallery media
enable keylines around gallery thumbnails
enable thumbnail tinting, which mixes one of your seven colors with the thumbnail, creating a more uniform design
display gallery media titles as numbers only
auto-advance delay (in seconds)
design:
display main and / or secondary navigation as all upper case or all lower case
font mapping, which allows us to override the defaults and specify which of the two fonts are used for main navigation, secondary navigation, QuickLinks, Site Titles, Expand Page headers, gallery media title, and gallery related media.
override default Info Page media borders with a choice of the following: (warning - some borders may not look good with certain Framework designs) none, hard shadow, soft shadow, larger soft shadow, small rounded corner, large rounded corner, circle, sliced corners, photo tabs, photo corners, keyline only, hexagon. Each of these has the option of no keyline, thin keyline, and thick keyline.
Extra padding around Info Pages, which is very useful if you have a busy background, or want a more minimalist look with your sparse information and media.
Individual controls for each Media Object
"Disable keyline only for this Media Object", useful if you have .swf files that have clear backgrounds, or your image has a pure white or black background, and your page is pure white or black, and your subject matter doesn't touch the borders of the image (like product shots, for example).
"Do not watermark this Media Object" allows the site to have copy-protection or identification features in popups through watermarking (extra option), while not having the watermark appear in popups that it may interfere with, such as charts, maps, or scans of articles.

Considered to be the easiest way to automatically format a page which has greater text priority than image priority, the Article Page creates a single, scrollable column of Rich Text, with the option of having a single image, slideshow of images, or a column of images, at any size up to 360 px wide, with caption under each image. If an image is a very elongated verticalIf the image area exceeds that of the Article Page area, an image scroll-bar will appear, so either way, you have an unlimited number of images that can display this page style.
The image area can be positioned on either the right or left side of the Article Page area. Other options include assigning the first Media Object as a non-scrolling background, or one Media Object is chosen at random from a list, to create image variety for repeat visitors. The page automatically scales all the media according to the one maximum dimension specified, for a very uniform look.
The price is $60 per page, for up to 1000 unformatted, unlinked words (about 2 pages). Formatting is extra. Add existing image from account: $5 per image, includes display of caption under each image. See "adding new images to account" pricing for upload of new images for these pages.

Gallery Pages are used when the most important aspect of the site and each page is primarily an image. "Image first, text second". Gallery pages have many unique options that should be considered for your site, if appropriate, and each framework has slightly different proportions and features in the Gallery Pages, and thus it is the Gallery Page that creates the strongest design differentiation between each franmework design. These include Select, Lightbox, PDF promo, Popup Image Branding, Watermarking, etc.
Unlike the other page styles, which retain standardized layout and functionality, the gallery page layout is custom-designed for each Framework. Most Frameworks include: media forward / back buttons, auto-advance button, "add to selection" button, media number out of total media in gallery, media title, media caption, media description, which supports Rich Text features. If the site requires that the image area be text, such as in introducing a sequence of images, then the "Text as Media Object" item can be used, which is essentially a pre-programmed Flash file that automatically inserts dynamic text, in the proper font and style, into that area, instead of next to it, where it normally goes. This often allows for more text, and positions it centrally.
Most Frameworks have a gallery style that has actual clickable thumbnails. Those that do not, have clickable symbols, or show the Gallery Media full-size already. In the Frameworks that have thumbnails, there are often an unlimited number of images that can be in a gallery, although we recommend keeping it to 99 or less, with 10-25 being most desirable. To accommodate many thumbnails, we have "panes" of thumbnails, which are essentially reasonably-sized groupings of thumbnails, say 8, that are shown at one time. If that number is exceed, the first and/or last thumbnail turns into an arrow button, to load the next grouping. This allows, no matter what size the thumbnail or Framework is, to accommodate a large number of media in each gallery.
Another great feature, especially for more complex or deeper sites, is "Related Media". If simple gallery use creates a third level navigation within the site, than use of Related Media creates a fourth. Combine that with very flexible and expandable ways of accomplishing first and second level navigation, and the user has a site that has virtually unlimited expandability. Many Frameworks support at least one media relationship, but some support two or three. This essentially allows a sequence of media to be attached to one "anchor" Media Object, and when that anchor media is shown in a gallery, the links come up to show that there are more items associated with the one.
This is a great way of creating fourth-level navigation, where the main gallery media, which can be a graphic that incorporates many individual items, or a text introduction, represents the whole group of items, further individually accessed using the Related link.
Another popular use of this is showing variations, angles, models, colors, finishes, installations, angles, drawings, animations, or anything else that can make a more informative experience. For example, an architectural firm can have three galleries: retail, institutional, and residential. Each gallery contains 20 select projects, for a total of 60 projects. For each project, there can be a related gallery of exterior, interior, and architectural details. If each of these contain 20 images, that would equal 60. This creates a very unassuming, logical navigation through 3600 images, and would make an excellent resource not only for potential and current clients, but would be a valuable resource for contractors, suppliers and new staff at the firm, never mind the media and public at large.
Integrating each individual image (Media Object) into the account is $15, or you can get 20 at a time for $200 ($10 ea) or 100 for $600 ($6 ea). Text formatting and linking within the description area is extra. The images can be used anywhere in the site. There is no extra per image charge to place them once into a Gallery Page, Graphics Page, or HTML Intro Page, but other pages or extra occurrances may have additional per media charges.
*There are several more advanced Frameworks that have the option of doing "image pairings" with select Gallery Pages. If using one of these Frameworks, the paired page will count as two Gallery Pages.

This page is very simple, giving the maximum area possible for information. It supports all the system’s image formats. Virtually any type of visual experience can be created within this page, but requires the creator to have some minimal experience in using software for creating and formatting graphics.
Think of it as a "blank canvas". It does not have any built-in rich text editing tools. Text can be accommodated by creating a page design, and exporting as a jpeg, with high quality settings to retain type / fine graphic sharpness, or ideally, exported as a Flash vector graphic, which makes it scaleable, smooth, and fast-loading with minimum bandwidth use. It can also be used when the creator wants to show a single graphic, image, or video at the largest size possible, or any media outside of the gallery layout.
The Graphics Page is also ideal for showing video clips as large as possible, but keep in mind bandwidth. load time, responsiveness, and computer speed if going large. A smaller video size will just have a nice amount of breathing room around it.

The Expand Page is a no-brainer if you:
have a site with extensive content and navigation, since it is the most expandable, easiest to manage third-level navigation system available.
have second or third level pages that have very long titles / headers
want to combine the visual structure of a list, with the speed of one-click navigation
because Expand Pages are $20 less than Article Pages, if you have 20 pages, you break even on the setup cost and if you have more, you're actually saving money by using these, if they suit your needs.
free options include showing a 200px Media Object, rather than the 72px thumbnail, and having multiple Media Objects fade from one to another, a "mini-slideshow" if you will. Note, if your thumbnail is a "cropped thumbnail", it will show up as that.
because each Expand Page is actually a separate item, re-organizing their order in the Manager is simpler than a long Article Page with text formatting.
To separate out groups of Expand Pages, we can create a Header Page. It doesn't expand, and is usually used as just a bar. However, you can have body text in the page, which will always be shown beneath the header text, suitable for a description or any details that affect all the items listed in that section. It could even be considered fourth-level navigation. The header bar shows up in a different combination of colors, which helps it stand out. It cannot accommodate any media, and is half-price at $20 per bar.

Creates extreme layout flexibility, allowing complex layouts of images and text to retain edit-ability and pixel-perfect alignment and spacing. Unlimited number of horizontal and vertical cels can be used for either text blocks, graphics, photos, Flash animations, Flash videos, or padding. These cels can be spanned to create long vertical or horizontal areas. The Grid Page can have an independent body of text spanning across top, outside of grid. Options include keyline around media, vertical and/or horizontal grid lines showing, and inverting text/background color of first row and/or column.
Base price is $60 per page, plus $80 per hour, with a 15 min minimum. Most complex designs can be accomplished within 1-3 hours, while still retaining hotlinks and editability. Much is dependent on back and forth tweaks with the client. If a page doesn't need to be edited often, creating it as a static graphic page, or as a Flash page with external hotlinks, may be of benefit. The more cels the page has, the more testing and adjusting is needed. Maximum recommended rows are 48, and maximum number of columns recommended is 5. A fixed price estimate is not possible with complex designs.
Options include:
cel spanning, vertically or horizontally
universal cel padding (in pixels)
fixed row height (in pixels)
Use largest cel in row to calculate row height
side padding on both sides (in pixels)
show vertical lines
show horizontal lines
keyline around all media objects
invert first row
invert first column

Essentially, this page takes between 1-10 Media Objects, and automatically sizes and places them for optimum layout and size, which makes it a snap to add and delete items without redesigning! Rolling over any item changes the optional default text at the top of the page, to read whatever is used in the description area of that Media Object. Great for quick introductions to products or services. Clicking on any item can trigger any Link Item activity, such as navigating to a particular section / product / service, or emailing the person whose photo is displayed, etc.
The Rollover Page is perfect for creating an image-based, rather than text-based navigation. Can be used to add another complete level to the whole site, by using a "profile switch" technique, or using hidden sections and/or subsections.
The page style includes an option to use one large image, and assign links to one of ten hotspots the system automatically places over the image. Of course, this can also be done with a Flash file in a Graphics Page that has link destinations hard-coded into it. Another option is for it to force 72 x 72 px thumbnails, which will make the whole page load ultra-fast, without any extra work. Actually, in some smaller frameworks, there may not be much visual difference between having ten shrunken images, versus ten thumbnails.
The Rollover Page can be used in a small site, as a gallery with larger thumbnails. This is great when you have a more extensive title for a project, or want the description to be instantly shown on rollover. The popular approach would be to have the media object link to either a gallery of more media relating to it, an Article Page that talks about it, a Grid Page having an interesting layout of small images / graphics and text, or just having it popup to a larger image.
