This search page is key to any site that has a large amount of media. It uses the media keywording and categorization system that is used both in the Manager to do searches for media, your custom preset keywords, and freestyle keywords. It also adds the image title, caption, and description text to create the full search index for each Media Object. These same keywords and categorize are imbedded as the Image Alt Tag, the same one used for indexing visuals in image search engines like Google Image Search. The viewer can therefore type in keywords or categories in the search, similar to a stock agency site.
This page works great in conjunction with several other optional site tools: Lightbox, allowing viewers to choose and memorize individual media objects (products, locations, artwork, etc); and the dynamic PDF brochure creator, which is easily triggered by doing the search, viewing as a dynamic gallery, optionally refining the results visually, and then hitting the print icon.
The Media Search only searches through a client-defined large internal gallery of images. That allows multiple search pages, each one only accessing a specific media object collection, to be integrated into a single site, or specific viewer site profiles (versions) to only have access to certain media object collections. Password-protection is possible for the search page. Options include "Allow large versions of images to pop-up", "display media name beneath thumbnail", and "enable LightBox"
Media Search results are displayed as thumbnails, without highlighting the text. The results are displayed in reverse chronological order, the newest additions to the site being displayed first. It is a very simple, yet powerful search result, best used when the ultimate information is visual, and the text is just supporting the search.
The Media Search Page can be customized with your background graphic or image, or we can create a design for you. Customization starts at $100, and the same graphic is used to customize the Text Search Page as well, at no extra charge.
Most sites will just have one library to search from, but you can have multiple collections, or certain collections with certain Profiles, URL's, or passwords. Each additional Media Search Page, referencing a different library, is $60.
Keywording and categorization can be done for you by our team, for a cost comparable to premium stock photography keywording services (or you can have them keyword and categorize it, and we can tag the images with those. The other alternative is to be part of our beta user program for the IntelliFolios Manager software, and do it yourself at no additional cost for now.
Note: Proper display of either Text Search or Media Search pages requires at least a Framework dimension (footprint) of 380 pixels high by 690 pixels wide, which can be checked in either the Comparison Grid or Visualizer. Most Frameworks are compatible.

In a way having an opposite agenda form Media Search, which is just looking at one very large gallery collection in the account, not even visible on the site, the Text Search page looks at all pages, including gallery media, and looks for an occurrence of the text specified. At the start of each result is a plain language "path" that shows the exact location of that page, and the first two lines of the item. Clicking on the item instantly takes the viewer to that page, including gallery page. Large numbers of results are shown through multiple pages, which can be directly accessed through page links.
You can specify up to 3 categories of search terms, and list keywords under each one. This allows the visitor to easily scan certain popular searches, and just select theme, knowing that these items will be well-represented. These can be product or service categories, names, etc. For example, an agent representing photographers could have the first category as the photographers' names. The second could be style of work. The third could be a listing of press and event types.
The Text Search Page can be customized with your background graphic or image, or we can create a design for you. Customization starts at $100, and the same graphic is used to customize the Media Search Page as well, at no extra charge.
You can restrict the search to certain pages, a $2 per page change charge applies for every page you want to restrict or then allow. Only one search page per site is really necessary, but if you would like different search categories for a different Profile, it will be an extra $60.
Note: Proper display of either Text Search or Media Search pages requires at least a Framework dimension (footprint) of 380 pixels high by 690 pixels wide, which can be checked in either the Comparison Grid or Visualizer. Most Frameworks are compatible.

Redirects can be created to route existing traffic from older versions of your site, or create a shortcut to a specific page.
For example, we use www.sendthisfile.com for sending or receiving certain files over the web. Instead of having to remember or even write...
http://www.sendthisfile.com/f.jsp?id=kCimvo3nMoWbwb6w6MSkkfla
...we just have a redirect for www.boamedia.com/sendfile, and it goes to that destination.
If we want to show someone our Hockey Bash project, instead of writing... http://www.boamedia.com/media/other/englishdemo.html
...we just write www.boamedia.com/hockeybash
If we had an older site that had a news page at www.boamedia.com/news, and other sites linked to it, we could just create a redirect called "news", and have it go directly to the current news page.
Redirects can also be used for tracking email campaigns or ads, instead of creating a new profile. It is less expensive, and simpler to manage over the long haul. Let's say we are creating an email newsletter, being sent on Oct 20, 2007. We can create a redirect called 071020, and instead of just linking to the www.boamedia.com, we link to www.boamedia.com/071020. In the statistics, we will see how much traffic then comes from that newsletter, versus other links to the site.
Here is the information required:
1. specify a directory name with no other characters or spaces besides underscores or dashes. It cannot be used by any other page in your site.
2. next, either choose a Profile Redirect, where any profile (site version) in your account can be chosen, or a Standard Redirect, where the Redirect can point to any URL, whether it is within your site and/or domain, or any other site page that can be accessed directly.
3. If you do not have a domain set up with us, it would look like http://youraccountname.intellifolios.com/yourpathname.

IntelliFolios supports multiple site versions within the same account, called "Profiles". Essentially, in the simplest form, a site can be set as the "Master Profile", and additional Profiles can be created that just have a different name and URL. That way, the traffic patterns of clients can be tracked independently from the general public, a very strategic thing to know. Profiles can even be created to track certain market sectors, or to track a specific ad placement in a magazine, for example. This would normally be impossible to effectively track by any other means. You could be wasting thousands of dollars in ineffective traditional advertising, and never know. But with IntelliFolios, you could.
In its most complex form, many additional pages and features can be added to the additional Profile, compared to the Master, including making design changes, re-organizing content, re-naming sections, different search engine content and keywording, etc. For example, a public site can have the large "screen" version of artwork heavily watermarked, while the "client version" has no watermarking, password protection, archive search, Lightbox and Print PDF functionality. When any common pages within the two Profiles are edited, those changes automatically take effect on both site versions. These are just two scenarios of many that Profiles is useful for. In each profile change, you can have up to 3 simple differences included (plus production charges of those pages or changes). Beyond that, extra charges will apply. Using Master Profiles will always be substantially cheaper, faster, and easier to manage going forward, than creating completely seperate site versions
As a quick guideline, when you have a section with the same name as in the Master profile, the versioned section will replace it. If it is named differently, it will append itself to the master sections. If you want a second or third-lebvel navigation item replaced, we copy the whole section and subsection that contains it, and just swap the item, be it a Gallery Page, or an Expand Item.

Our search engine optimization services provide you with customized, one-on-one review, analysis, recommendations, strategy, and execution to give you the competitive edge in natural search engine positioning. Natural positioning (versus paid positioning, AdWords, AdSense, banner ads, etc) provides you with the best long-term return on your investment. We have an upfront research & development fee, which often yields information that is used in your other projects as well. Once this is done, the results will have a lasting impact for years. Some of our clients use natural search engine positioning as their primary source of acquiring new clientele. Others use it as an economical auxiliary source. Either way, being visible on search engines is a must-have in today's world...not just an option. Keeping and improving the results usually requires some maintenance, which we can do, or consult you on how you can do it yourself.
SEO services have three stages. These prices only apply to sites that we have created, and built using our IntelliFolios system. If your site is created by another method, we can still help, but other pricing applies, and is by quotation.
Stage 1: $260. prepaid includes:
Our exclusive SEO guidebook that is written by Mir Lada, distilling years of research and testing, into an easy-to-read 26 page and growing PDF. Any updates to this guide are included for free, by request, with this fee, and as long as you are a Boa Media client.
Two one hour sessions with Mir to review and improve your content, focusing on metatagging, general content, and discussions about your longer-term SEO strategy. We implement the content during that time, so you get a better understanding of what is involved.
A fair expectation is to have a unique business name or personal name listed in page 1 results of country-specific Google within 1 month. Additional results may occur, but should not be counted on.
Stage 2: $640. prepaid includes
8 hours of additional SEO services, customized to your needs. Stage 1, not included, is mandatory before Stage 2. Stage 2 services can include writing SEO content for your site; submissions to search engines, directories, info sites, and industry portals; competitive analysis, and three "free" quarterly reviews of your positioning, including up to 30 minutes of tweaks, meetings, and review for reach of the three sessions (up to $120 value included at no additional cost). There is some back and forth approvals via email, with the opportunity for several in-person, phone, or Skype meetings to review strategy, content, and results.
The fair expectation would be to have several (2-5) top 100 search engine positioning (5 pages of normal results) for medium competitive search phrases with under 100,000 Google results. That means .1 percentile, or top one in a thousand thousand.
Stage 3: $3000. prepaid includes
This is a continuation of Search Engine Optimization services, with a 25% discount as a package of hours. $60 per hour vs $80 per hour. We charge hourly because every client scenario requires a different balance and strategy. At this level, if you follow our gameplan, a fair expectation is to have several (2-5) page 1 (top 20) results for several 2-3 word terms that are in a medium competitive category (under 1 million results), after several months.
Stage 4: Positioning guarantees for ultra competitive keywords and phrases, and shorter time to achieve maximum results. This is a continuation of mandatory Stages 1, 2, and 3.
The way this works is you chose a word or phrase that you want to be in the Page 1 results in Google (country specific version), put it into that version of Google, look at how many results are generated. Take one dollar for every 1000 results, or $10,000 to be positioned in the top 20 of a million results, for example. Our goal is to get you, and keep you at #1 for a year, with whatever natural search engine positioning techniques we can employ.
#1 can't be guaranteed, but we are confident that we can keep you in the first page, top 20 results, and if for some reason, your ranking slips through below top 20 in the first year after initial payment, and we can't get it back into the top 20 within 30 days, you get 90% of your fee back. You still end up with great value, and great results for that resulting fee. This is a flat-fee, and includes meetings at our own discretion. The guarantee is only valid if you follow our advice, answer all questions, and provide all requested, reasonably-expected material.
